Comparison Between Different Backup Software for VMware ESX
This latest brief review compared the pros and cons of the leading backup vendors for VMware ESX. (In Chinese).
It only touched the surface, not technical oriented and in fact not detail at all, sounds more like a marketing material to me.
I guess commvault isnt that large in China.
It is better if they can include the price of subscription and support service.
I found that the 1 year service price of one of the software is around 25% of the original price. It seems too high as I don’t need support but only the software update subscription.

Only software update with no support? Obviously they also need to pay for their bill right and make some $$$ right? Ha…
In fact, I’ve paid for the Veeam maintenance last year, but never bother to upgrade to v6, have you? I will probably do it when v6.1 is out.
I mean I haven’t use the support service since I only use the basic function of it without any problem.
They have ask me to try another product such as Veeam One.
The software standard support service should already include the product upgrade right and support service when I purchase it at first. I can even download the v6 license after I am using v5 for a few months in the first year.
